Tuesday....

hi!
i know I haven't posted in a while...sorry
sometimes i just really don't feel like posting at all

anyways...about today. It was tuesday. I had math in the morning, which was cool, except that i didn'r do any of my algebra homework. I was really busy studying science this week, and i didn't have a lot of time

anyways, I did my math homework this morning, which was ok. However, it also meant that by the time I got to tutoring i was bored of math. My math tutor didn't make it any better. He made me feel like an idiot. He was basically insulting me every time he opened his mouth, without seeming to realize it. stuff like
"Oh, your handwriting should probably be a lot more legible" and
"Huh. Surprisingly, you're succeeding"
It was horrible. After math my mom, brother and I went to get food. We ate some sushi, which was tasty. Then we went to science olympiad.

So in case you've forgotten, the science olympiad people are all really weird. ALL of them, even the moms. We thought we weren't gonna have to see them after the actual science olympiad, but our team made it to state olympiad....so we do.

I was there for two hours...from 2 until 4. Then i went to choir

choir was okay. Singing always helps. However, today we didn't do a lot of singing. It was mostly sitting around for me, since i don't have a big part in our yearly musical( twelfth night)and since there aren't a lot of ensemble songs :(

Friday in Stanford

hi!
today was a pretty interesting day so far. We went to Stanford with one of our groups, to visit a little brother of one of my mom's childhood friends(whose name is Eliza, like me), who works there. He's a neuroscientist who studies hearing and eyes and stuff like that, which I think is a bit ironic since he's blind in one eye.

anyways, It took forever to get there because of traffic. I did get some nice foggy pictures though

Once we got to palo alto though, it was warm.

we walked around at stanford for a while, and looked inside this big church. Then we went to see where they did MRI scanning, and all that stuff. BTW, this wasn't just me and itai. We were with our creative writing group...don't know if i've ever written about them before. They're really nice, although their mom's don't like my mom very much. She's kind of embarrassing in the way that she's a bit socially awkward. Not too much, just a bit.

Anyways, after stanford we drove home, and now i'm blogging. I'm gonna make some french macaroons soon, because we have guests coming over for dinner. Maybe i'll post a picture.

Tuesday

hi!

i know it's been a really long time since i last posted, but i feel like blogging right now so i will

today was an interesting day. 

It started at about 7:20 in the morning, when i woke up. I got up and talked to my mom for a bit, then got dressed and took my dog, Gustav, out on a walk. After that I came home and changed my clothes for this morning exercise thing we decided we were gonna do

I changed into these spandex legging things and a pink shirt, and i think i looked pretty sporty(lol)

so while my mom and Itai(my little brother) were getting ready I ate a banana with peanut butter, which is one of my favorite snacks of all time. My family usually gets this really good roasted peanut butter from the monteray market, which i recommend. After the banana my mom and brother were ready, so I put on some music and we did jumping jacks for a while. One thing that always confuses me: how do your arms and legs synchronize? do your arms go up when your legs are together, or when your legs are apart? it's very annoying. Me and Itai were arguing about it, but then we stopped doing jumping jacks, so it was all ok. 

we did a workout/yoga for about an hour. By 9 we were eating breakfast(which was yogurt with jam and fruit-delicious) and doing some english. My brother and I did a test in english, which we both aced. I'm proud of us

After that it was time to leave for math tutoring, so we went to the public library to wait for our tutor, whose name is Jason. He had a PHD in math, and is pretty nice(although he should really stop biting his nails) 

I had math for 1:30 hours, and Itai had it for and hour. After that we went to out science olympiad meeting, which was okay. I got kind of sabotaged by my coach.

so me and our coaches daughter, tangerine(it's a funny name, i know) both want to do the same event. So our coach preposed that we do a test to see which one of us was better at the event. So she said she'd give us some warning, but she didn't(not for me, anyways) and gave us the test today. I, of course, not having studied, failed it. So she proved that her daughter was better. what a female dog(i won't use the actual word in case it offends someone)

anyways after that i had choir, which was actually really fun today. Me and this girl Demitria made this really funny joke and laughed a ton, which made me feel a lot better. Even though i don't know Demitria very well yet, i had fun.

then i came home and watched the latest moden family episode. Now i'm blogging.

Another Flu-ish Friday

hi there!
today was another day that was kind of tainted with the flu. This time neither me nor Itai have it. My mom had the flu today, and it was annoying

it meant that we couldn't do any lessons, and my brother and I had a hard time staying motivated

I did do some science olympiad work. I can't believe it's in only 2 weeks!

I'm also going to Washington D.C in a few weeks-I won't be able to post then because i won't have access to a computer

once i finish this post, I'm gonna work on my creative writing story for a bit

Wednesdayyyy!!!

hi!
this is gonna be a quick post, because I need to go soon

today was wednesday

i went for a tour and a lesson from a neuroscience professor at UC berkeley

and I went over to a science olympiad kid(who is cute)'s house with Corina(my crime busters/chemistry partner)

we did a test that the guy set up for us

then i came home and made gluten free scones, which was good

I also worked on my story a bit

Friday with the Flu

hi
sorry i haven't really been posting much for the last week-i have the flu

we were going to go skiing this weekend, but i couldn't go. My brother and Dad are in tahoe right now, and my mom and i are home. It's alright

yesterday i mostly read all day, which was fun. I drank lots of tea, and tried not to cough too much

today i've kinda been chilling on the computer more-i finished my book this morning. I'm also blowing my nose a ton, and trying not to cough

thats pretty much all i've been doing....flu-ness is annoying!

CVS on Sunday

hi!
i was gonna write about yesterday and today on one post, but i decided not to
so this is my post about today.

it was a very nice day. In the morning i had Midrasha(the jewish sunday school) which was nice. Me and Safara and Shira chatted for a bit, and some of our other friends joked around too. I guess they're mostly my other friends, since Safara sand Shira stick together really tight and don't make that many other friends. I guess i'm special in that way

After Midrasha I went to get my picture taken at CVS. Thats because i need to renew my passport because we're going to brazil in march. I definitely want to be able to do that!

After that I came home and ate some soup. Then me, Itai, and my dad went to get haircuts and to target. It was fun. I got 2 new shirts, and a new bikini top to go with my black bottom. My old bikini top is really faded from all the time i spent on the beach in israel.

when we got home i did some math, and ate some more soup. Then i helped my brother build his new lego sets, and now i'm writing on my blog
