My Marvelous Marble Cars

hi!

this post is about my day today-i needed to give it an interesting title though. I did do something with the words "marble cars" in it, so i guess its ok to have that be the interesting title that makes people actually want to look at my blog.

so about today.

today was sunday, which means that I have Midrasha. Midrasha is kind of like a sunday school for jews-it's pretty cool, although it can be boring. It starts at 9:30 in the morning, and ends at 12:30. I do Midrasha with three people i knew previously-but now i know everyone in the class. The people I knew previously are this girl Safara, who is a good friend of mine, our friend Shira, and a boy who goes to my old school, named Phil. In case you were wondering, I used to go to school. When i went to school(all my life before this year) I went to private schools. For the last two years I went to Tehiyah Day school. Thats how I know Phil. Shira also used to go to Tehiyah, but she left before i came.
Safara and I were in the same class for a year, and that's how we became friends.

So today Shira wasn't at Midrasha, so me and safara talked a lot. I also talked to the Mayas(two girls in my Midrasha class whose names are Maya). They're cool. I told Safara about some moral problems that  I saw in a lecture that my mom and I watched-I was invited to join this "justice" group, and they said that we'd be working off of these lectures, so my mom and I decided to watch one of them. We only got 14 minutes in, but it was enough for me to get a bunch of moral problems. Safara and I had a good time with the moral problems, and after Midrasha we walked to her house. Then we spent the rest of the day talking and designing stuff.

Safara is really good at designing stuff. She can design clothes really well, but is also super good at drawing three dimensional things. We made up a new mode of transportation that we haven't completely thought through yet. Thats what the "marble car" in the title is

marble cars are basically bubbles. They have a few layers. The outer layer is a clear plastic bubble, filled with a thin layer of some sort of fluid. Inside that clear bubble is the inner part of the car. It is made of metal, with a weighted bottom. This means that the marble car can roll without wheels-which i think is cool. we haven't exactly figured out how they roll, but we will.

So that's pretty much been my day so far-right now my little brother Itai has his friend Daniel over to build a vehicle powered by a mousetrap. Yep

so thats my day...
